Organisations Based At InVOLve House
InVOLve House is more than just a venue – its a vibrant hub for community support and development. We are proud to host and collaborate with charitable organisations that deliver vital services to the local area. Two key partners currently based at InVOLve House are Mid Ulster Volunteer Centre and The Base.
Mid Ulster Volunteer Centre

Overview:
Mid Ulster Volunteer Centre supports and promotes volunteering across the Mid Ulster Council area. It acts as a vital link between people who want to help and organisations that need support. Whether you’re looking to give back, gain experience, or meet new people, the Centre helps connect volunteers with meaningful opportunties.
What They Do:
- Match Volunteers with local charities and causes.
- Support organisations in managing volunteers.
- Raise awareness of the value of volunteering.
- Offer guidance and training for volunteers and organisations.
Why It Matters:
Volunteering is about giving time and energy freely, with no exception of financial gain, for the benefit of others and the wider community. In return, volunteers experience the satifsaction of making a real difference.
The BASE

Overview:
The BASE is a welcoming and supportive space for adults with learning disabilities to connect, socialise, and participate in their local community. It provides a safe environment to build friendships and enjoy a sense of belonging.
What They Do:
- Offer structured day opportunities in a community-based setting.
- Support individuals to access local resources and activities.
- Foster inclusion, independence, and personal growth.
Why It Matters:
The BASE enables adults with learning disabilities to live fuller, morre connected lives within their communities. There are now 10 Base centres across the Northern Trust area, with the orginal one proudly developed right here at InVOLve House.
